Warten I Krankenhaus 2018
Krankenhaus is the first work which I did from this series. The photographs originated from my stay at the hospital in August 2018 for my top-surgery, also called mastectomy. The surgery is very well documented online with photographs and videos. Therefore I wanted to take a different approach. I took five rolls of black and white film with me, and just photographed out of my emotions. My interest is, if the emotions I had carried during my stay, are visible in those photographs.
